Sora Brodie was sworn in by Judge Richard Chavez as a new Police Cadet for the Town of Taos Police Department at the regular meeting for Mayor Darren Cordova and Town Council Tuesday (August 23).We caught up with her after the meeting and asked why she chose Taos.

“I wanted to be closer to my parents, plus my best friend grew up here and I was very familiar with the area,” Brodie said.

She’s is an avid skier and hockey player, plus she has also worked on a couple of feature films, including “Legion” and “Brothers.”
