The Taos Town Council has a regular meeting set for tomorrow night. The council is set to get an update on the taos regional airport's runway design and construction project... they'll also get a presentation from a representative of new mexico main street, about the the financing and operations of the taos arts and cultural district. The agenda also includes a resolution that will have the town terminate the joint powers agreement for dispatch services, effective december 31st of 2013... the resolution would have the town manager notify the village of questa, village of taos ski valley, and taos county, about the termination... and also work with those partners to reach a new and more effective agreement. The meeting is at 6-30 p-m at town council chambers, which is at 120 civic plaza drive.
