Taos county leaders met with town of taos leaders in a work session this week... and county leaders are pushing for the town to drop a proposed annexation to expand the town boundaries to include an area to the airport... the town has said it's a way to get gross receipts tax money associated with an airport expansion... but county leaders are asking that the town find another way to pay for airport expansion. The county offered suggestions, such as having the county give revenue from the airport expansion to the town.
