The Town of Taos is looking for a new fire chief. The town says The town of taos administrative fire chief, eric montoya, has resigned. Chief montoya submitted his letter of resignation on Monday, NOvember 6th, with an effective date of november 16th. He was hired by the town on April 25th, 1994, as a parks maintenance worker... he joined the fire department the following year, and has been the town's fire chief since 2006. In response to Montoya's resignation, town manager oscar rodriguez said he wishes Eric the best in his future endeavors... and his service for the town of taos is greatly appreciated.
