January 29th is the tenative trial date that's been set for a man accused of fatally shooting a taos man while they were hunting in 2011. 68-year-old Gilbert Sanchez is accused of second-degree murder in the death of 48-year-old Clifford sanchez during a hunting trip to the carson area in october of 2011. Gilbert Sanchez had said he spotted something moving, which he believed to be a bull elk, but ended up shooting clifford sanchez off the back of a moving ATV.
