The State Supreme Court today - has a hearing on whether candidates who did not put their district numbers on nominating petitions - should be allowed on the ballot june 5th. This issue has been brewing more, as state district judges issued conflicting court rulings on Monday. THe attorney general had told the secretary of state - the court likely would not reject a candidate's petitions that otherwise met legal requirements... and the secretary of state allowed the candidates to remain on the ballot, even though they left district numbers off of their nominating petitions. Duran asked the supreme court to get involved and decide on the issue.
