The state House votes to repeal the New Mexico law that allows illegal immigrants to get driver's licenses. The repeal backed by Governor Martinez now goes to the state Senate where a similar measure failed last year. Democrats have a stronger majority in the Senate. New Mexico and Washington are the only states that grant driver's licenses to illegal immigrants and others without a Social Security number.
