A state legislative panel on Wednesday supported a pair of proposals that would mean new mexico workers would pay more for retirement benefits. One proposal asks 133-thousand public employees, including teachers, to pay 30-million-dollars over three years for retiree health care, while taxpayers pay 60-million-dollars more... another proposal calls for nearly 62-thousand educators to pay an extra 46-million-dollars into their pension system over two years.
