Officials at Carson National Forest are planning to continue with prescribed burns this week... and you'll be able to see the smoke from Taos and other areas. The burn project is located within the Red Mesa area of the Tusas Ridge.

Smoke from a prescribed fire in the santa fe national forest prompted a smoke alert in albuquerque on Monday. The project aims to treat more than 13-hundred acres over a three-day period. The smoke will be visible from Rio Rancho to Albuquerque to the Jemez Springs area for the next few days.
