In and around Taos is jam-packed with places to go and things to do. The third annual Taos Artist Organization kicks off this evening, Friday, at six at the Sagebrush. This year’s studio tour features dozens of destinations this weekend and next. In-between, a week of workshops for those who want to try out or hone their creative skills. You do need a map and directory to keep track of this widespread art experience. Your Northern New Mexico Newsroom can help you find your way.

All the information about all the participating artists and studios, including a detailed tour map can be found at http://www.taosartist.org

The Taos Gallery Association won’t be left behind as it offers the Art Walk on Saturday. Look for an extended block party near downtown.

Go to http://www.taosgalleryassoc.com/events.htm for all the details.

Then, there’s the four-day Taos Mountain Music Festival, starting off at 4pm today, Friday, and running through Sunday. Music, film festival, food, hiking and more will be going on non-stop on the high ground.

Go to http://www.taosmountainmusicfestival.com/ and get connected to all the Mountain Festival events.

It’s Labor Day Weekend. You worked hard for it; be sure to enjoy it.
