Penasco is not in Taos Police Chief Rick Anglada’s jurisdiction, but he has a personal interest in seeing the New Mexico State Police solve last Friday’s armed robbery and assault. The State Police, where Anglada had held the rank of Lieutenant, are searching for two men who made off with an undisclosed amount of money. For the Police Chief, this case is personal.
