The new Taos County Commission in its meeting this week decided to offer former deputy county manager Rick Bellis his old job back. Bellis' position was cut at a meeting in december. The board offered to give bellis his job at his previous slary, with backpay and benefits from the date he was laid off. The commission also is giving county manager stephen archuleta the authority to settle any remaining issues with Bellis. The commission this week also decided to drop a lawsuit over a liquor license for old martina's hall. Two new commissioners - gabriel romero and tom blankenhorn - took their seats on the commission this month.
