Gov. Says Graduation Rate Is Up Featured

Governor martinez says the graduation rate for the class of 2012 was up by more than 7 points from the graduation rate for the year before. Governor martinez announced that the statewide graduation rate for the class of 2012 was 70.3 percent. The graduation rate for hispanic students in the state went up to 67-point-7-percent, up from 59-point-3-percent... the rate for american indian students increased by more than 9 points to 69-point-3-percent... the graduation rate for special needs students improved to 55-point-7-percent, from 47-percent... the graduation rate for the state's english language learners went up by almost 10-points, to 65-point-6-percent.
